Nepsone has now finished a two year grant period with Tækniþróunarsjóður working on a new treatment for psoriasis.
The treatment involves a completely new method of action that is supported by published literature and we firmly believe to treat the root cause of the disease. We have reached most of the milestones we set out to reach within the project period and as such are well on our way to bringing the drug to patients in a clinical trial in the near future. The interest in the company has grown during this time and we are currently in discussions with investors and potential partners whose involvement would greatly reduce the timeline to market. We hope that our continued research and development efforts will soon bring this new drug to psoriasis patients worldwide.
