Opnað hefur verið fyrir umsóknir í leiðangra í Horizon Europe
Leiðangrar (Missions) eru nýnæmishugsun hjá Evrópusambandinu, um samvinnu rannsókna, nýsköpunar, þátttöku borgara og aðkomu stjórnvalda og fjármagns til að ná metnaðarfullum en áþreifanlegum árgangri í ákveðnum málaflokkum
Markmiðið að takast á við nokkrar af stærstu áskorununum sem samfélag okkar stendur frammi fyrir.
Leiðangrarnir eru fimm; Aðlögun loftslagsbreytinga (Adaptation to Climate Change), heilbrigði hafs og vatns (Healthy oceans, seas costal and inland waters), krabbamein (Cancer), verndun jarðvegs (Soil health and food), snjallar og loftlagshlutlausar borgir (Climate neutral and smart cities).
