Successful Researchers' Night 2011
Around 4700 guests visited Rannis' annual Researchers' Night (Vísindavaka) on Friday 23 September, which this year was celebrated in Háskólabíó. The objective of the event is to bring science closer to the public and give people the opportunity to meet researchers in various disciplines. Universities, research institutions and companies participated in the exhibition and various scientists performed on stage. Researchers' Night is supported by the FP7 People programme and is organised on the same day in cities and towns all over Europe. Rannis would like to thank participants and guests for making Researchers' Night a success once more!
